The Facebook Killer

I was just messing around one day looking  through my emails from a Marketers listing and, Boom there it was, a system that finally guides you into making money on facebook without using facebook ads. I purchased it and on day 2, I made about 63 bucks. I 've never made any money off of facebook and, had been trying on and off for over 5yrs now. So, the system works!

The reason why I tried this system is because, I needed something New and up to date for using facebook and, making money from it. If your spending money on facebook ads "STOP" try the system for 30 days and, if you don't like it then they will give you your money back. That's another reason why I purchased this system.

Norton Security 2015 Review

Norton is currently offering a $20 - $40 discount on its security software to NextAdvisor.com visitors. To take advantage of this deal, simply click any link to Norton from NextAdvisor.com.]

Norton has recently redesigned its entire security software program to offer a single suite that protects all of your computers and devices for the same price. The cost to protect up to five computers or mobile devices is a flat $44.99/year (with NextAdvisor's discount), making it one of the more affordable multi-device security software suites. If you want to protect more devices and have cloud storage included with your account, you might want to consider purchasing Norton Security with Backup, which costs $49.99/year to protect up to 10 devices. Only looking to protect a single computer? You can save a little money by purchasing single-device protection for $39.99/year. Although the packaging has changed, what's under the hood is more or less the same when it comes to Norton's PC security — which is not necessarily a bad thing

Installation

Like previous years, installation is lightning fast — just a couple of minutes — and, blissfully, does not require you to restart your computer. Upon completion, the software offers a product tour to help get you started. You can skip the tour if you wish.

Interface

Norton has redesigned and streamlined its interface, providing a far less confusing user experience than in the past. The bright white and green color scheme is easy on the eyes, and large buttons and navigation ensure optimum usability.

The bottom of the interface is taken up by four large buttons: Security, Identity, Performance and More Norton. Clicking on each of these buttons takes you to different sections of content within the program. You can minimize the navigation by clicking a large green arrow at the right-hand side of the interface. Doing so will give you the ability to view all of the content in a given section.

Security

includes the different scans Norton can run on your computer (Quick, Full and Custom), LiveUpdate (which provides updates to ensure your computer is continuously protected against the newest threats), history logs of every action taken by the software and advanced settings. In addition to the different virus scans Norton offers, the scans section includes a link to let you scan your Facebook wall with Norton's Safe Web Facebook app and the Norton Power Eraser, which uncovers hard-to-find problems.

Identity

is home to the Identity Safe feature, as well as statistics about the information you save in your identity vault and a password generator that helps you come up with strong passwords. You can also view and change settings for Norton's identity protection features. The Identity Safe lets you create a secure password to a virtual vault that stores all of your logins, credit card information and other personal data for secure shopping, banking and browsing

Performance

contains several computer optimization features, including Disk Optimization (a standard disk defragmenter), File Cleanup (finds and deletes temporary files), Startup Manager (manages which programs run automatically when your computer is turned on to help improve startup time) and Graphs (view real-time and historical graphics of your PC's performance).

More Norton

links you to the extra features that Norton has to offer. Add Devices opens up a walk-through for installing the program to another computer or mobile device. Identity Safe has links for downloading the free mobile app to iOS and Android devices. Manage takes you to your online account so you can manage your subscription and account information. Family lets you activate the parental control features that come with Norton Security — you can also upgrade to Norton Family Premier for $49.99/year if you want more advanced parental controls.

Likewise, Backup is a link to upgrade to include 25 GB of online cloud storage for PCs with your Norton Security multi-device protection. If you are planning to purchase the program with backup, you will want to do it from the start rather than upgrade — the cost is the same ($89.99/year). However, Norton Security with Backup covers 10 devices, as opposed to five with Norton Security.

Overall, the interface is easy to navigate. Settings can be turned on and off with a simple toggle switch, and when you click to open up a section of features it pops up into a new window so you don't have to navigate backwards. If you are confused about what a setting or feature does, clicking the question mark icon to the right of it will bring up a help article on Norton's website with detailed information.

Antivirus/Antimalware

Norton offers plenty of high-performing protections against malware and viruses. In addition to antiphishing, antivirus and antimalware protection, Norton's SONAR Protection proactively protects you from unknown threats by detecting dangerous applications. The smart firewall automatically identifies and blocks online threats and risks as they happen, preventing unauthorized Internet access to and from your computer.

Historically, Norton's antivirus products have done very well in testing with independent testing body AV-Comparatives. Over the past few years, Symantec has neglected to enter Norton in the twice-annual Whole-Product Dynamic Test, which measures how well the program's various security components work together to protect the PC. However, past tests resulted in high scores for Norton and a historical average of 2.5 out of 3 stars.

When we did our own independent testing, Norton did a decent job of blocking the fake viruses we threw at it. The couple of test files that were able to be downloaded to our system were picked up during a virus scan.

Performance

The performance tracker retains its sophistication, tracking everything from how many CPUs to how much memory you are using — as well as how much memory Norton eats up, just to show how efficient the program is. You can also get performance details on all your installations, downloads, detections, alerts and scans. The Startup Manager is also helpful in letting you know which applications are taking up the most memory while your computer is booting up. It can also turn them off or delay them to boost startup time.

Running scans is simple and only slowed our computer down a little bit. You can choose from a basic Quick Scan, Full Scan or Custom Scan. Social media users will also enjoy the Facebook wall scanner, which connects to your account and scans your wall and newsfeed for potential threats.

Notifications are unobtrusive as well as small, and you can toggle "silent mode" to prevent any update sounds from disturbing when streaming video or playing a game.

Norton always does well when it comes to independent testing of its performance, historically scoring 3 out 3 stars in testing from AV-Comparatives, an independent antivirus testing organization.

Mobile Security

Norton's Mobile Security app can be downloaded through an email sent by your Norton account or on the Google Play or Apple App stores. Its installation is short and simple, and upon completion the app runs a full scan of your device to check for malware. The interface is similar to several other mobile security apps we've reviewed — large buttons and a simple design. In addition to being able to press a button to open up the selected content, you can also conveniently swipe to the left or right to scroll through each screen and switch fluidly from feature to feature.

The features are broken up into six sections: Anti-Malware, Anti-Theft, App Advisor, Backup, Call Blocking and Web Protection. Norton doesn't offer anything groundbreaking when it comes to mobile security, but it covers the basics.

Anti-Malware

Here you can see the results of your last scan, as well as click an icon to navigate to the App Advisor screen. When a scan is running, this screen changes to show its progress.

Anti-Theft

The first time you open this feature, you are presented with a four-digit passcode that is assigned to your device. This passcode can be used from another device to issue SMS commands, in the event that your phone is lost or stolen. You can lock, locate, activate a "scream" alarm and wipe your phone's data from your Norton account online or by sending your phone a text with that code. For example, if your phone is lost you can find its location by sending "locate 1234" to your number from another device.

In addition to these features, you can use the "sneak peek" function from Norton's website to help find your phone or catch a thief in the act. If your device is locked using Norton security, it will automatically take a photo every ten minutes.

App Advisor

When you run a scan on your phone, this feature checks your installed apps to ensure there aren't any problems. Unfortunately, there isn't much of an explanation in-app as to what problems it looks for or how those are remediated.

Backup

Back up your phone's contacts, schedule regular backups and restore your contacts from a previous backup.

Call Blocking

In addition to adding specific phone numbers to your block list, you can view a history of calls/SMS messages that were blocked and choose to block all unknown numbers that try to reach your phone.

Web Protection

Only available for Android, Chrome and Chrome Beta browsers, enabling this feature lets Norton block fraudulent websites. If you want to continue to the site anyway, it will be unblocked for 30 minutes so you can use it without any problems.

Although Norton's mobile app offers a solid set of features and a great design, there are a couple of quirks that some may find irritating. Rather than letting you scan your device from the feature page itself, you have to select that option from a drop-down menu at the top of the screen. It took a little bit of hunting for us to realize this. Additionally, the limitation of web protection only being available for a handful of mobile browsers is disappointing.

Conclusion

Norton offers PC users top-notch protection with plenty of features that will help keep your computer safe while you use the Internet, as well as a simplified interface design that is easy to navigate. The mobile app isn't the best we've seen, but it will protect your devices, and it is great that it offers protection for iOS devices as well as Android.

System Requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8-8.1; Android 2.3 or later, iOS 6 or later
